Meeting Information

There is a direct railway connection (S-Bahn S2) from airport to the Dresden Central Station (Dresden Hauptbahnhof). See more information of the schedule at https://int.bahn.de/en/ . You can buy the tickets at the machines located at the station. The trip from the airport “Dresden Flughafen” to “Dresden Hauptbahnhof” takes around 20 min.

You can easily reach Dresden by train. Regular lines are available from Berlin, Frankfurt, Prague, etc. Dresden has two big train stations – Hauptbahnhof and Dresden-Neustadt. For travel information look at https://int.bahn.de/en/.

If you are driving to Dresden by car the best way to go is on motorway A13 or A4 / E40.

Dresden city has a large number of hotels, however due to the multiple events happening in Dresden in May 2024 (concerts, meetings etc), we strongly recommend you to book your accommodation in advance!
